Writing & Research Methodology

Final Project:
Following a recognized methodology in rhetoric and composition, technical communication, or some related field, pick a topic/project to research and conduct a research study. This project has three parts:
- A short project proposal for approval. Worth 20% of the project.
- A conference length presentation (15-20 minutes) on your project. Worth 30% of the project.
- An article length paper (15-25 pages double spaced) or the equivalent on the study including lit review, methodology, findings, and analysis sections. Ideally this will be a draft of a paper you plan to submit for publication. You can submit this in print form, web, podcast, or something else, with my approval. I will be looking for a professional level of quality well on the way to being publishable. Worth 50% of the project.
