- http://boingboing.net/ : recommendation by Mindy Clegg a past student. Here is what she has to say about it "Boing Boing is a good general geek site, and has all sorts of good tech

that urban farm that got shut down last week), as well as random

A few helpful hints for turning in your web projects:
- Check the assignment description to make sure you have done everything.
- Make sure you have published all files. Compare your local view and remote view to check. Publish files as needed.
- Check the website. Go through the website looking for any issues, like missing images and links that don't work. Click on each link and look at each page.
- Check the website on someone else's computer or account to make sure that all the links, images, and files work and are on the server (and in the public_html folder) and not items on your computer or in your account (like your h drive). You can do this or have a friend do it.
- Email me the URL & any other needed info (check the assignment description to see what I might need). Make sure the URL works and is correct. If you have published the site in your h drive/elocker the URL will be something like: http://www.student.gsu.edu/~userid/foldername/first_file.html, where the userid is your id, the foldername is the name of the folder your project is in (this folder would be in the public_html folder, if there is no folder within the public_html folder then you don't need this), and the first_file.htm is the first page of your site. Note: if your first page is index.htm or index.html you will not need to include the name of it in the URL.
- DO NOT make changes in your project until you have received your grade and comments, as such changes might ruin your project before I grade it. Trust me this has happened and caused many problems.
