The Virtual Exchange Program

One of the best reasons to attend university is the opportunity to meet people from different parts of the world. This website offers virtual opportunities for such meetings. Students from the participating universities describe and depict (using words and photographs) their institution, its people, and their world. Our goal is to provide windows onto other people's worlds and beliefs and customs. Our hope is that what people do and find here will encourage them to discover a world outside their own.

What Can You Do?

  • meet university students from other parts of the world
  • share photographs of your school and friends and the places you like to go
  • write reviews of restaurants, night clubs, shows, events, vacation spots, your home town
  • discuss various topics -- trends, popular culture, the arts
  • practice writing for the real world
    show me some more pictures
  • How Can You Get Involved?

To participate in the Virtual Exchange Program, you must be a member of the program's community of institutions. If you are a student and you want to get involved, ask one of your professors to check out the site. If you are a professor who wants to use the site as part of a class assignment, please email George Pullman at gpullman@gsu.edu to arrange a login and password.
