I'm currently in my second year of an Arts Degree at USyd, but I also studied a year of Architecture at UNSW and then realised that it is certainly not the degree for me! I am majoring in English Literature and hope to do my Honours Thesis on how mimesis figures into Derrida's hilarious riposte of Speech Act Theory in Limited Inc Abc. In my spare time, I enjoy playing the bassoon and listening to The Knife and Róisín Murphy. I also enjoy reading (but this is a given for any Arts student) and am particularly fond of Bret Easton Ellis and Jeffrey Eugenides. I'm also a big fan of food, which you will no doubt discover if you go to my reviews section. In terms of films, I'll watch just about anything from Rocky Balboa to Hello, Dolly! If I had to name some of my favourite films, however, they would have to be Law of Desire, Koyaanisqatsi and Citizen Kane.leave a message
