Born in Arizona, and lived between there and Illinois for the first 14 years of my life. I moved to Sydney in 1997, and have been here since that time. My background is mixed, a father in business/IT and a mother who's completing her PhD (after 2 Master's) in French and comparative literature - and I am the end result: a now completing my honours year in Digital Cultures and Technology / English. Outside Uni, I've worked in retail (haven't we all) and have been playing guitar for about 8 years.
